Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt want to get engaged after Brahmastra release?

The idea of marriage seems to have taken Bollywood by storm. If 2018 was the year of weddings, looks like 2019 will be just the same. And going by the latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt just might exchange rings this year.
According to a news portal, Neetu Kapoor wants the two get engaged by June. Rumours are rife that the Brahmastra couple would like to wait and not rush into anything yet. A source told a daily, "While everyone is speculating about another Bollywood wedding this year, but it is being reported that the couple plans on waiting it out, at least until their upcoming film [Brahmastra] together is released."
Ranbir and Alia began making headlines 2018, when they appeared for Sonam Kapoor's wedding reception together. Ranbir admitted that they were in relationship and it was still "too new" to talk about.
Alia has bonded well with Ranbir's family, and they have accepted her as one of their own. Just recently, Neetu has called Alia her "heartbeat". Neetu took to her Instagram account to share sneak-peeks of their New York getaway and captioned it, "All the heartbeats in these," followed by heart emojis. Alia rang in New Year with the Kapoors.
While many of the pictures featured Neetu and her granddaughter Samara, one of the pictures also had Ranbir and Alia in it. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her husband Bharat Sahni were also a part of the pictures.
Earlier, Neetu had shared a picture of the family enjoying dinner on New Year and wished fans a happy 2019. The picture also featured Rishi Kapoor, who is currently undergoing treatment for all the years of "wear and tear at the movies".
In fact, when Neetu wrote, "Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign", fans got anxious whether he was battling cancer. However, Rishi's brother Randhir Kapoor reassured fans and well-wishers that he is doing well.
Randhir told a leading daily, "I don't know much about it but this much I can tell you that [Rishi] is doing well."
"Let people say whatever they want to. That he is doing well is evident from the photo that I, too, have seen. He is having a good time with everyone and has stepped out to enjoy a good meal. He will soon be coming back to India. We are looking forward to that right now," Randhir added.
