Athiradi Arasu, a popular stuntman in Kollywood, is debuting as a hero in a Tamil film called Kabbadi Veeran. Arasu has also directed the film. The audio launch of Kabbadi Veeran was recently held in Chennai with many celebs like Radha Ravi, Abiram Ramanathan and Namitha in attendance.
Speaking at the event, Jaguar Thangam, the head of producers guild, made a shocking revelation about how Athiradi Arasu once saved the life of Rajinikanth and got stabbed in Karnataka.
He said that years ago Rajinikanth was shooting for a film in Karnataka and a riot broke out on the shooting spot. A mob allegedly attacked the Superstar with knives but Arasu took the hit and got stabbed thereby saving the actor.
Jaguar Thangam said Arasu is a bold and fearless person, who loves to take risks.
Rajinikanth's latest outing Petta is running successfully across Tamil Nadu. The Superstar will next act in AR Murugadoss's film, which is slated to go on floors soon.
