Shahid Kapoor reveals that Mira Rajput brought along many house helps after their wedding, but unlike his character in Kabir Singh, he never gets angry with them.
There's a scene in the film Kabir Singh where an angry Kabir, played by Shahid Kapoor, chases his maid in the streets after she breaks a glass. In an appearance on comedian Kapil Sharma's show, Shahid was asked if he ever lost his cool with domestic helps in real life.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Shahid replied that his wife Mira Rajput brought along several helps with her after their wedding and he was so scared of offending them that if he were to break a glass, he would apologise and offer to clean up.
Kabir Singh is the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. It revolves around a hot-headed surgeon who goes down the path of self-destruction after his lover leaves him.
Channeling this dark side was quite a challenge to Shahid. He had to ensure that he did not carry any negative energies home to his wife and children, Misha and Zain. He said that he would take a two-hour-long shower to rid himself of all the anger and angst he was carrying around with him on sets.
Kabir Singh also features Kiara Advani. The film has been directed by Sandeep Vanga. The film will release on June 21. Shahid was last seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which did decent business at the box office.
