Akshay Kumar and his lookalike
Celebrities discovering their lookalikes is not a new thing. Actors like Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra and many more have come across their doppelgangers, thanks to the internet. And now, Akshay Kumar can be added to the list.
A photo of a Kashmiri man named Maajid Mir is doing rounds on Twitter and his resemblance to Akshay is uncanny. The viral picture was shared by a journalist of a leading news channel on the micro-blogging website, who has claimed that he is a fan of former cricketer Sunil Gavasker.
Akshay Kumar, who is 51 years old, still looks young at this age. However, a few netizens believe that Maajid Mir looks like the older version of Akshay Kumar.
A Twitter user even commented, "Vaise ye bhaisahab Sunil Gavasker ke fan kam, Akshay Kumar ka budhapa zyaada lag rahe hain ( He looks Akshay Kumar's older version more than Sunil Gavasker's fan)."
Here's how others have reacted to the post:
"I zoomed in pic to be sure it's not photo shopped & someone has not pasted @akshaykumar face on him," (sic)" another user wrote.

A fan even called him Akshay Kumar's twin brother. He wrote, "Akshay Kumar sir ye aapka judwa bhai hai kya."
A Twitter user pointed out his short height and wrote, "Ee toh hamaar Akshay babua hain. Kad chhota kaisin ho gaya."
Speaking of biopics in Bollywood, another wrote that his duplicate can play Akshay Kumar in his biopic.
Relating it to Akshay Kumar's older version, a user took a dig and wrote, "This dude looks like someone has applied old age FaceApp filter on Akshay Kumar. (BTW huge respect for his cricket passion)."

One user wrote that he had to zoom into his photo to see that he is not Akshay Kumar, but his lookalike.
Earlier, Anushka Sharma also found her duplicate in the American pop singer Julia Michaels, who is a Grammy-nominated artist and recently released her new single with Selena Gomez called Anxiety. The photo was shared by the singer herself on her Instagram handle and in no time, netizens started comparing her to the actress.
From asking Virat Kohli, "Bhabhi ne naam badal liya kya?", to calling her Anushka's lost twin sister, internet had a field day.
But now, Akshay Kumar has also found his doppelganger.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is basking in the success of his recently-released film Mission Mangal. The film earned Rs 164.61 crore at the box office on Tuesday, and is inching towards the Rs 200 crore club.
