However, a Telugu website shared her latest photos and fat-shamed her. They went to the extent of describing her as 'very heavy' and having 'double chin'. The article about Anushka Shetty's latest look caught the attention of everyone and for the right reasons.

Netizens slammed the entertainment portal for fat-shaming her and said that they have stooped low, according to journalism standards. Fans of Anushka took offence to the body-shaming article and made sure they taught them the right lesson with their comments.

Earlier, it was reported that the actress took a detox program in Austria to get back in shape. Photos of her latest look made the rounds on social media, a few months ago.
The actress has been missing in action since Bhaagamathie released in 2018. She will be seen in a guest role in Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which will hit the theatres on October 2 this year. Her upcoming film Nishabdam, which also stars Madhavan, Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Michael Madsen, is expected to release later this year.
