Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey had a memorable experience during his visit to UAE on Monday. After clearing the immigration procedure upon his arrival in Dubai, Jack noticed his passport and found an extra stamp on it apart from the regular one. No prizes for guessing that it was the logo of Twitter - that of the blue bird.
On Twitter, Jack shared a picture of his passport that shows the special stamp apart from the immigration one. "Marhaba Dubai" is what Jack captioned his post in Arabic.
Isn't this so cool?
With over 1800 likes, Jack Dorsey's post has been retweeted over 600 times and generated a conversation in the comments section. Citizens of Dubai welcomed Jack while several other followers found it difficult to believe that Jack, indeed, had received a special stamp.
"Is this for real," read one comment while another user posted a meme about it. In fact, one of Jack's fans also invited him to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Jack Dorsey is in UAE as part of his Tweeptour - a global tour to celebrate the thirteenth anniversary of Twitter.
Along with several other top officials, Dorsey is visiting Twitter offices across the world. Out of 35 offices of Twitter all over the world, 12 are located in the USA.
